Join HeatSmart and home weatherization specialist Sean O'Bannion from ZeroDraft to learn how home weatherization improved this Chemung County homeowner improved their home comfort and lowered their energy bills. The focus of this webinar will be on mobile homes and how weatherization grants can improve home comfort and lower energy bills.

HeatSmart Installer Case Study with Simply Installs

Join HeatSmart and installer partner Simply Installs to learn how this homeowner replaced their fossil fuel furnace with energy efficient heat pumps. Simply Installs is a family business owned and operated by AJ and Logan Cole. They specialize in air source heat pumps and their sister company Simply Home Performance does weatherization.

HeatSmart Installer Case Study with Halco

Join HeatSmart and installer partner Halco to learn how this Chemung County homeowner got a new heating system, new water heater, and extensive weatherization upgrade. This young family with four children live in an old farm house in Erin NY. The home had almost no insulation and relied on pellet stoves and space heaters for heating. Halco insulated the attic, walls, crawl space, installed ductless air source heat pumps and a heat pump water heater, and upgraded the electrical service. The entire $40,000 job was covered by grants from the EmPower program and the NYSERDA heat pump demonstration study.

Join the HeatSmart team and installer partner Dailey Geothermal a family business owned and operated by Leah and Ryan Dailey. They specialize in ground source (geothermal) heat pumps, but also do air source heat pumps, heat pump water heaters, as well as plumbing and electrical work.

NYSERDA is conducting a Heat Pump Pilot Study to learn how heat pumps can benefit low-to-moderate income households in NY. Join the  HeatSmart team to learn if you're a good candidate for this short term opportunity that will provide deeply discounted heat pumps to low-to-moderate income households that are heating with any fuel except gas.

Calling all owners of properties in local or National Register listed historic districts or individually listed buildings! Are you interested in learning about energy retrofitting tips for your historic properties? Join us for a virtual workshop presentation offered by Historic Ithaca with participation from City of Ithaca Historic Preservation and Neighborhood Planner Bryan McCracken and energy retrofitting specialists.
