Katherine Borgella - Tompkins County

Katherine Borgella, Principal Planner with the Tompkins County Planning Department, has worked in regional planning for over 20 years.  She currently coordinates Tompkins County’s energy and greenhouse gas emissions initiatives and was the primary author of the Tompkins County 2020 Energy Strategy.  Prior to focusing on energy issues, she worked in a wide variety of planning areas including sustainability, agriculture, natural resources, transportation, housing and economic development.
