​Project Manager Solarize Tompkins SE Pilot Program

Mark is currently Town Supervisor of Caroline. He is also a board member of the Cayuga Lake Watershed Network, a nonprofit group that promotes awareness of the value and beauty of the Cayuga Lake Watershed and provides information on issues of concern. Mark, Ann, and daughters Ruth and Freida live in a home heated and cooled by a geothermal heat pump powered with electricity provided by the sun. As a member of Energy Independent Caroline, Mark helped develop the successful 2013 Solarize Tompkins Southeast Program that demonstrated the readiness of the community to take action steps to address climate change and fossil fuel poverty. He served as Director for that program. Mark is committed to facilitating the urgently needed transition to a low-carbon society.
