An energy-efficient home is an investment that you get to enjoy every day and one that pays dividends to both you and planet earth. Spring is a great time to get a home energy assessment and schedule insulation and air sealing work. If you've been considering heat pumps, why not get them now so you can enjoy the air conditioning all summer long? These municipalities can earn a $5000 grant from NYSERDA if ten households get insulation and/or heat pumps (including heat pump water heaters) installed. The best first step is to enroll in the HeatSmart Program, which takes only 3-4 minutes, and request one or more free assessments.
